Daniela “Dani” Bergmann — Your independent candidate for Mayor. With experience, heart, and a clear vision for our community's future.
The year after we moved here, the sawmill burned down. Within no time, neighbours, clubs, the fire brigade, and many volunteers pulled together. In that moment, it became clear to me: Dipperz is more than just where I live — this is a place where people show up for one another. That feeling has shaped me over the years, and sparked the wish to one day take on responsibility for our community myself.
I'm Daniela Bergmann, 45 years old, and I've lived in Dipperz for over twelve years with my husband Uwe and our two daughters.
After finishing school at the Winfriedschule Fulda, I trained as an IT systems management assistant and then studied Business Information Systems in Nuremberg. After my studies, I worked first in software consulting, then in IT at Geis Logistik. For many years now I've worked at EDAG Production Solutions, where I lead a team and manage digitalisation projects for public-sector clients and operators of critical infrastructure.
In my job, every day is about taking responsibility, bringing people with different interests together, and developing solutions collaboratively. These are exactly the skills I want to bring to Dipperz.
But just as important to me is community. For many years I served as a parents' representative at nursery and school, was chair of the primary school's parents' council, and for years I've volunteered on the board of SFD Schwimmsport Fulda e. V.
When I'm not working or volunteering, you'll often find me in the water myself. I love swimming, play the piano now and then, and in my free time I enjoy designing CAD models for 3D printing and laser engraving. I like coming up with new ideas and then putting them into practice.
I'm running because I want to take responsibility for the community that has become home to my family and me.
I want to be Mayor for the whole community — for every district, every generation, and across political lines. In concrete terms, that means:
Clubs, the fire brigade, churches and many volunteers keep Dipperz alive.
They should be able to count on a community that listens, supports them without red tape and makes joint engagement possible.
For me, that means regular dialogue, support for events and room for joint initiatives. Those who give their time to others deserve appreciation and a community that pitches in.
Businesses, jobs and local services help us live and work well in Dipperz.
I want to strengthen our businesses, create good conditions for their development and secure local supply for the long term.
Nature and active tourism also offer opportunities for our community. I want to make Dipperz more attractive in this respect, keeping hospitality and local offerings in mind.
New developments – from the care centre to the energy transition – I want to use as opportunities for Dipperz, while keeping the interests of local people in view.
Dipperz should offer people at different stages of life a good home.
That includes reliable childcare, a variety of housing options, and good meeting places and leisure activities for children and young people.
I want to develop our community so that people of all ages enjoy living here and can take part in community life.
Our farms shape Dipperz and its districts.
They should be involved as partners of the community early on in planning.
I want to strengthen regional marketing and, in dialogue with the farms, keep agriculture, nature and quality of life in rural areas in view together.
The new Platz der Begegnung (meeting square) should become a place where people enjoy coming together.
I want to bring it to life together with clubs, hospitality businesses, local firms and the people of Dipperz.
That includes events and shared activities as well as spaces for everyday encounters. A vibrant village centre comes from people who use it and help shape it.
Fewer unnecessary trips, simpler processes and more transparency: that is what a modern administration should be measured by.
I want to expand digital services and improve citizen service. Personal accessibility is, of course, part of that for me.
I keep safety in mind throughout: from protecting digital systems to disaster and civil protection. Together with the fire brigade and aid organisations, I want to strengthen preparedness.
